The
Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from the Technical University of Ambato
has acquired competencies and skills that enable them to:
- Provide
comprehensive care in the processes of health promotion, disease prevention,
recovery, and rehabilitation, applying scientific knowledge.
- Develop
research projects within their field of expertise and in interdisciplinary
contexts to identify problems and generate alternative care approaches in their
area of competence.
- Use
research as a fundamental part of professional practice for decision-making and
problem-solving.
- To work
as agents of social change, promoting processes that support individuals,
families, and communities in their pursuit and achievement of self-realization
through their performance and significant contributions as nurses to society.
- To be
part of multidisciplinary teams in public and private institutions, practicing
independently or managing their own businesses within the framework of
excellence and quality through the application of cross-cutting themes in
academic training.
- To assist
individuals of all ages and social groups in meeting their basic needs through
activities based on standardized Nursing Diagnoses and the NANDA taxonomy,
addressing both health and illness.
