The Nursing Program at the Cuenca Main Campus was created on June 16, 1989, with the aim of training talented individuals with academic and humanistic excellence, capable of providing quality care centered on the application of the Scientific Method through the Nursing Care Process.

It develops critical thinking, articulating the core principles that underpin the university's actions, to generate competent professionals who contribute to solving society's problems.
